2020 Domaine Mosse Bangarang

Joseph and Sylvestre demonstrate the gentle change of tack this estate has taken since they took over from their father René in 2018.

A refreshing blend of mostly Pineau d'Aunis, with a splash of Cabernet Franc, leans heavily into the former's heady white pepper and strawberry character. Lively attack, fresh and fruity wine.

Chill gently for maximum refreshment.

Whole bunch maceration for four days for one part of the Pineau d'Aunis, fermentation in stainless steel vats and direct pressing for another, fermentation in concrete vats. Destemmed maceration for two weeks for the Cabernet Franc, fermentation in barrels. Blend of 90% Pineau d'Aunis – 10% Cabernet Franc.

Alcohol: 11.5%

Total sulphur in mg/L: 26 mg/L
